About The Program

The Dream Mentor program is the brainchild of Father Joe Mallia who wanted a program that provided each student from Cabrini Schools from eighth grade to twelfth grade the opportunity to meet with a Dream Mentor to provide academic and occupational exploration prospects both inside and outside of the classroom.

Goals and Objectives

  • Help students find the joy in learning.
  • Provide students with academic and occupational exploration prospects both inside and outside of the classroom.
  • Assist students in discovering their abilities, talents & passions.
  • Aid students in creating short and long term educational plans.
  • Create a Dream Roadmap with student that follows the student from year to year based on the student’s interests and goals.

Program's Purpose

The aim of the program will be to:

1. Fostering academic (thinking) development

2. Preparing students to be informed, caring, and productive citizens of society

3. Preparing students for higher education

4. Preparing students for the world of work

Program News

Thursday February 5, 2015 Mr. Campbell presented the CDMP Program as part of a meeting introducing the general public and current school parents to the initiatives going on at Cabrini Schools - See "CDMP in the News"

Friday December 12, 2014 A $1,000 Scholarship will be awarded to one female and one male high school senior at Cabrini High School. The "Cabrini In Me" scholarship award will be presented to a deserving, capable high school senior (male & female) who have demonstrated character achievement, leadership, and school and community service. Deadline: March 2, 2014. See H.S. Counselor for details.

Friday November 14, 2014 A new "Student Information Page" has been added to the Portfolio Folder. You can write about why you want to go to college and what you would like to study. There is also the opportunity to Upload a picture.

Monday October 20, 2014 The On-Line CDMP Portfolio Folder is available for you to create your own personalized portfolio folder. Contact Mr. Campbell and he will set you up with a Login ID and Password.

Thursday September 11, 2014 Congratulations to Senior Emily Gawlik who was named a National Merit Scholarship Program Semifinalist.
