Everyone has dreams and ideas about what they want to do in their life. Our dreams for our lives show the things that we like or that are important to us. Our dreams help us make choices about what we want to do and how we want to make them happen!

About The Program

The Dream Mentor program is the brainchild of Father Joe Mallia who wanted a program that provided each student from Cabrini Schools from eighth grade to twelfth grade the opportunity to meet with a Dream Mentor to provide academic and occupational exploration prospects both inside and outside of the classroom.

Goals and Objectives

Help students find the joy in learning.
Provide students with academic and occupational exploration prospects both inside and outside of the classroom.
Assist students in discovering their abilities, talents & passions.
Aid students in creating short and long term educational plans.
Create a Dream Roadmap with student that follows the student from year to year based on the student’s interests and goals.

Program's Purpose

The aim of the program will be to:

1. Fostering academic (thinking) development

2. Preparing students to be informed, caring, and productive citizens of society

3. Preparing students for higher education

4. Preparing students for the world of work

Thursday January 10, 2013 Mr. Campbell will be presenting a CDMP Parent/Guardian Workshop for 9th and 10th graders on Saturday January 12 and Saturday January 26th. Please check your Email or send an Email to Mr. Campbell for an invitation.
Wednesday December 12, 2012 A $1,000 Scholarship will be awarded to one female and one male high school senior at Cabrini High School. The "Cabrini In Me" scholarship award will be presented to a deserving, capable high school senior (male & female) who have demonstrated character achievement, leadership, and school and community service. Deadline: March 2, 2013. See H.S. Counselor for details.
Wednesday October 3, 2012 Standardized Tests (ACT) are the key to unlocking a higher education. Without the right score(s) you may not be allowed into your desired school. Monday April 23, 2012 The On-Line CDMP Portfolio Folder is now operational and ready for you to create your own personalized portfolio folder. Contact Mr. Campbell and he will set you up with a Login ID and Password.
Sunday March 4, 2012 Mr. Campbell presented the Cabrini Dream Mentor Program at the Annual International Deming Research Seminar at Fordham University in New York. Go to the Process Section and see his Paper and Presentation Slides.
