About The Program

The Dream Mentor program is the brainchild of Father Joe Mallia who wanted a program that provided each student from Cabrini Schools from eighth grade to twelfth grade the opportunity to meet with a Dream Mentor to provide academic and occupational exploration prospects both inside and outside of the classroom.

Goals and Objectives

  • Help students find the joy in learning.
  • Provide students with academic and occupational exploration prospects both inside and outside of the classroom.
  • Assist students in discovering their abilities, talents & passions.
  • Aid students in creating short and long term educational plans.
  • Create a Dream Roadmap with student that follows the student from year to year based on the student’s interests and goals.

Program's Purpose

The aim of the program is to create an environment for "Life Long Learning" as well as prepare the student for College and Career Readiness by:

1. Fostering academic (thinking) development

2. Preparing students to be informed, caring, and productive citizens of society

3. Preparing students for higher education

4. Preparing students for the world of work

Wednesday September 2, 2015 The On-Line CDMP Portfolio Folder is available for you to create your own personalized portfolio folder. Contact Ms. Shea or Mr. Campbell and they will set you up with a Login ID and Password.

Monday August 10, 2015 Ms. Danielle Shea High School CDMP Specialist will be responsible for all High School CDMP Mentoring (Unless you have met previously with Mr. Campbell).Stop by her office (Library) and set-up an appointment.
